Philippians 4:11“…I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”
Paul claims to know the “secret” to contentment in all circumstances. He’s experienced the gamut of good and bad. Paul could look at the wealthy and prestigious and say, “I’ve been there.” Likewise, he could look at the poor and persecuted and say, “I’ve been there too.” Through his experiences, he’s realized, and he reveals to us, the key to contentment: “I can do all things through him (Christ) who gives me strength.” The key to contentment is knowing Jesus and being filled with his power and presence.
