The natural current of our culture and our sinful condition pulls us toward “more”: More accomplishments, more income, more square footage, more recognition, more views, more potential for promotion, more commitments, more involvement, more efficiency. The list goes on. If you are dragged by the current of “more” for very long, you’ll find yourself exhausted and empty. But the life and teachings of Jesus provide a different way to live.
