God, in his wisdom, establishes these guiding principles for godly community through the New Testament. God, in his kindness, offers us the reasoning or purpose behind many of the principles, as we have seen. This week, we’re prompted to “forgive one another”, not because anyone is deserving of our forgiveness, but because “God, in Christ, forgave you”.
