From the series 4 Letter Words
The Bible speaks often about holiness. We see God described as holy, we see God worshiped for His holiness, and we even see Christians being called to be holy. In our world, though, holiness can be pretty unpopular. Personal holiness demands refraining from popular, easy, or trendy decisions, corporate holiness can be misconstrued as being judgmental, and God's holiness can seemingly create distance between us and Him. Even though the idea isn't popular, a good understanding of holiness is not judgmental, oppressive, or cold. Instead, it is freeing, beautiful, and a cause for worship.
