In the Gospels, Jesus never seemed too interested in fans. His consistent call was to follow. Because following requires fixing our eyes on our leader. Following requires us to move. It takes us on a journey beyond our own comfort and into places we’ve never known. So how would you define your relationship with Jesus? Are you an "enthusiastic admirer"? Close enough to Jesus to get the benefits but not so close to require sacrifice? Or will you choose to follow Him and live unleashed like never before?
Are your eyes fixed on him, are your feet moving with him, are your priorities reflecting his?
Jesus is looking for followers who will do whatever it takes to get one more person to Him. He’s looking for completely committed, radically resilient, sacrificially sold-out followers who will give their lives to the everyday mission of Jesus. So how would things change if you lived as Jesus lived, and loved the way He loved? What step do you need to take to live unleashed?
