Starting Honest, Healthy Conversations with Your Kids
Make a onetime awkward lecture into a healthy ongoing conversation.
As Christian parents, we want to guard our children from the flood of sexual imagery and inuendo, confusion around identity, and downright misinformation that pervades our culture. But where and when do we have those conversations with our kids? And how do we reduce the anxiety and pressure most of us feel when we do?
Don’t Stress Talking Sex presents an engaging relational model that helps reduce anxiety while building a healthy parent-child relationship that will grow over the years. You will learn how to engage in fruitful, biblical conversations with children from ages three to eighteen.
Author and speaker John Fort shares stories from his own past, lessons he’s learned as a parent, and assurance that having ongoing conversations about sex is vital to your child’s emotional health and sex education. Anchored in God’s design for sexuality, Don’t Stress talking Sex offers parenting advice that will help you:
- Deliver age-specific advice for navigating difficult topics including pornography, puberty, and temptation
- Create a healthy environment in your home that helps reduce misinformation and anxiety
- Direct your kids and teens toward a resilient and healthy sexuality
It’s not about a one-and-done “sex talk,” but an ongoing conversation meant to last a lifetime.
