Helping Your Child Live Confidently for Jesus in Public School
Encourage your kids to share God’s Word with confidence and within their rights.
While it’s true that public schools have become increasingly hostile to religious beliefs, many Christian parents have taught their children to leave their faith at the schoolhouse door. Whether out of fear, avoiding controversy, ignorance, not knowing the law, or a matter of spiritual apathy, it’s time to get in the game and educate yourself in the ways kids can confidently bring their love for Jesus into their school.
Backpack Faith is filled with stories of Christian kids whose faith thrived in public school, truths about expressing faith at school, ideas for equipping your child, and ways to graciously respond when your family’s religious freedoms are violated. This resource helps you start conversations on discipleship for kids and encourages you to:
- Learn your role and the rules―get informed, understand the meaning and misconceptions of the separation of church and state.
- Educate your children on the three ways they can freely express their faith―being a light, sharing with others, in class and at events
- Make a place for the Bible in public school―it will transform the life and education of your son or daughter and of many others
- Grow your kids to demonstrate a confident faith―prepare them for the conversations and conflict, especially your tweens and teenagers
Fill your child’s backpack with the biblical supplies they need to thrive.
